The Heartland Preparatory Committee is a community working towards the social implementation of the ‘Gift Economy 2.0’.
The activities of the Preparatory Committee are themselves carried out within the framework of the ‘Gift Economy 2.0’. In other words, it is a way of supplementing what is needed by the gifts of the participants.
Each time a gift is made, it is recorded on the blockchain by a heart token and held as social credit within the ‘Gift Economy 2.0’. The trust in those who lend their help before the implementation of the ‘Gift Economy 2.0’ (i.e. those who give gifts with little or no expectation of return) must inevitably grow, as is already the case in the current situation. Conversely, there is no benefit to be gained in the capitalist economy other than trust in the ‘Gift Economy 2.0’. Nevertheless, we would be very happy to hear from anyone who is willing to lend us a helping hand (please fill in the form at the end of this article).
Please note that ‘participating in the Preparatory Committee’ and ‘participating in the Gift Economy 2.0’ do not overlap at all. Giving on the platform of the ‘Giving Economy 2.0’ does not necessarily have to be ‘for the Preparatory Committee’ and can be done for anyone.
Please bear this in mind, as the ‘Gift Economy 2.0’ is a platform for each person to record his or her gifts to those with whom he or she has a relationship.
Currently, the Preparatory Committee is aiming for autonomous and decentralised community management.
The decision-making of the Preparatory Committee is based on discussions in the Preparatory Committee channel on the discord and at the regular meetings.
