The Heartland Project aims to realize the "Gift Economy 2.0," an economic environment in which people can live based on values different from "money" by recording the gifts that are given in the community, which are still given on a daily basis even today, as having global value.
A book on the project has been published (in japanese). 『贈与経済2.0：お金を稼がなくても生きていける世界で暮らす』（翔泳社、2024.4） (It took the ‘No.1 bestseller’ spot in the ‘Thought Magazine’ category on Amazon.)
